Глава 3

1 Впрочем, молитесь о нас, братья, чтобы слово Господне быстро распространялось и прославлялось, как и у вас,

2 и чтобы мы были избавлены от нехороших и злых людей; ибо вера не у всех.

3 Но верен Господь, Который утвердит вас и сохранит от лукавого.

4 И мы уверены о вас в Господе, что то, что мы предписываем, вы и делаете и будете делать.

5 Господь же да направит ваши сердца к любви Божией и к терпению Христову.

6 Предписываем же вам, братья, именем Господа нашего Иисуса Христа, чтобы вы удалялись от всякого брата поступающего бесчинно и не по преданию, которое вы приняли от нас.

7 Ибо вы сами знаете, как должно подражать нам, потому что мы не жили среди вас беспорядочно:

8 ни хлеба даром не ели ни у кого, но в труде и изнурении ночью и днем работали, чтобы не обременить кого из вас,

9 не потому, чтобы мы не имели власти, но чтобы себя самих дать вам в пример для подражания нам.

10 Ибо когда мы были с вами, мы это предписывали вам: если кто не хочет работать, пусть и не ест.

11 Ибо мы слышим, что некоторые поступают между вами бесчинно, никакой работы не делая, но делая много суеты.

12 Таковым мы предписываем и призываем их в Господе Иисусе Христе, чтобы, работая в тишине, они ели свой хлеб.

13 Вы же, братья, не уставайте делать добро.

14 Если же кто не послушает слова нашего в этом послании, — того имейте на замечании: не общайтесь с ним, чтобы его устыдить.

15 И не считайте его врагом, но вразумляйте как брата.

16 Сам же Господь мира да даст вам мир всегда во всём. Господь со всеми вами!

17 Приветствие моей, Павла, рукой, что есть знак в каждом послании. Я пишу так:

18 благодать Господа нашего Иисуса Христа со всеми вами.

1 Finally,3063 brothers,80 pray4336 for us, that the word3056 of the Lord2962 may have2192 free course,5143 and be glorified,1392 even2532 as it is with you:

2 And that we may be delivered4506 from unreasonable824 and wicked4190 men:444 for all3956 men have not faith.4102

3 But the Lord2962 is faithful,4103 who3739 shall establish4741 you, and keep5442 you from evil.4190

4 And we have confidence3982 in the Lord2962 touching1909 you, that you both2532 do4160 and will do4160 the things which3739 we command3853 you.

5 And the Lord2962 direct2720 your5216 hearts2588 into1519 the love26 of God,2316 and into1519 the patient5281 waiting for Christ.5547

6 Now1161 we command3853 you, brothers,80 in the name3686 of our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 that you withdraw4724 yourselves from every3956 brother80 that walks4043 disorderly,814 and not after2596 the tradition3862 which3739 he received3880 of us.

7 For yourselves846 know1492 how4459 you ought1163 to follow3401 us: for we behaved812 not ourselves disorderly812 among1722 you;

8 Neither3761 did we eat5315 any5100 man's bread740 for nothing;1432 but worked2038 with labor2873 and travail3449 night3571 and day,2250 that we might not be chargeable1912 to any5100 of you:

9 Not because3754 we have2192 not power,1849 but to make1325 ourselves1438 an ensample5179 to you to follow3401 us.

10 For even2532 when3753 we were with you, this5124 we commanded3853 you, that if1487 any1536 would2309 not work,2038 neither3366 should he eat.2068

11 For we hear191 that there are some5100 which walk4043 among1722 you disorderly,814 working2038 not at3367 all,3367 but are busybodies.4020

12 Now1161 them that are such5108 we command3853 and exhort3870 by our Lord2962 Jesus2424 Christ,5547 that with quietness2271 they work,2038 and eat2068 their own1438 bread.740

13 But you, brothers,80 be not weary1573 in well2569 doing.2569

14 And if1487 any5100 man obey5219 not our word3056 by this3588 letter,1992 note4593 that man, and have2192 no3361 company4874 with him, that he may be ashamed.1788

15 Yet2532 count2233 him not as an enemy,2190 but admonish3560 him as a brother.80

16 Now1161 the Lord2962 of peace1515 himself846 give1325 you peace1515 always1223 3956 by all3956 means.5158 The Lord2962 be with you all.3956
